FUEL UP THE UTES & PULL OUT THE TARPS—IT’S TIME TO GO BUSH!!
This is our annual men’s camp - Our 3rd year of surveying the savannah, treading the terrain, and mastering all those things men love to do. This year we are opening it up to bring the boys 10 and over.
We head out into the wild scrub southwest of Mirani to a few hundred square kilometres of rugged mountain terrain, hidden valleys , crystal clear streams and long sandy banks with rocky outcrops. Leave your city car, phone, laptop Ipad, & hairdryer at the front gate. No room for luxury (coffee beans and plungers are welcome) and hang on as we 4WD our way over the range to base camp. Be sure to keep an eye out for wild pigs.
Leave the word behind with no phone or internet coverage . Just a bunch of guys with a whole bunch of wilderness to roam and the listening to One voice. The voice of a loving Father God as we use this time to “Be still & know that He is God”. A special treat this year - we have “Big Job Rob” Rob Hebb from Sydney to share the experience. Rob is a great bloke who loves the Lord (he pastors one of the Sydney Vineyard’s too). Do some male bonding as we gaze around the campfire and spin a yarn with someone one you don’t know or get to know someone you do even better.
